Tendering, contract design and innovations: A pre study

Important results from the project

The demand for a dynamic public sector at large, and for innovations in tendered services in particular is substantial. To meet this demand, it is necessary to provide an understanding of how how the design of the tendering process, the contracts and the mechanisms for remuneration to the contractors are designed. This pre-study will seek to fill this gap with respect to tendered services in the transport sector. In this way it will be feasible to create a platform for future research and development which will facilitate the creation of a more innovative public sector.
