Purpose and goal
The project´s objective to develop a tool to help teachers and students to better utilize educational online learning materials have been met. Teachtrail is available on http://teachtrail.com and is a digital service where teachers are able to create a lesson playlist with content from different online learning resources. A playlist can easily be shared with students , enabling them to intuitively follow a list of world class learning resources.
Results and expected effects
By using teachtrail.com, knowledge of how popular digital learning resources can be used in education are shared between teachers. The implementaton of Teachtrail in classroom teaching is expected to increase the use of digital educational material from the internet and simplify the use of various online learning resources. The most important and expected results of the project is the creation of three application tools available on teachtrail.com
Approach and implementation
Implementation of the project has taken place in three phases, with requirements definition and design, interviews with teachers and product development. The funding from Vinnova has partially funded the development of three applications that make up the system teachtrail.com. One tool for collection online learning resources, one tool for creating a playlist , as well as a system for students to interact with the lesson playlist .
