Purpose and goal
TED-2 will demonstrate a higher level of technical maturity for standardized DCS (NATO STANAG 4774, 4778) including demonstration of label/binding, policy control, key management and audit. The project will demonstrate interoperability between systems and actors across MIL/MIL and MIL/CIV interfaces in edge environments. Simultaneously, it will show how Synkzone´s data protection platform works with DCS principles for secure, controlled data sharing.
Expected effects and result
TED-2 capabilities are highly relevant in both the military domain and the civilian sector. Within TED-2, we intend to demonstrate capabilities towards both these segments. The project will contribute to showing a fast-track path forward for DCS, interoperability and data protection in sensitive environments. The result will be a demonstrator for a DCS solution with built-in data protection that can be integrated and scaled further in both civilian and military use cases.
Planned approach and implementation
TED-2 builds on TED-1 and will ensure that end-user requirements from the military and civilian sectors shape the project content. A sub-goal is to deliver functions for demonstration at NATO CWIX26. Development is carried out in an iterative process, in parallel with business development activities. The reference group should ensure that the project content facilitates future productization and commercial relations within the military and civilian sectors.
