System for improved fuel efficiency large ships

Important results from the project

The target for the project was to develop a new system for fuel savings on large sea going vessels. The project has developed this system through extensive research and development together with the University of Skövde and Mälardalen University.

Expected long term effects

A new and unique product that saves large amount of fuel and reduces emissions from large sea going vessels is ready for market launch. We extect the first orders this year and fast expansion the next coming years.

Approach and implementation

The project has been run as one project with a number of sub-projects coordinated by one project manager. Weekly follow-up meetings of ecternal parties using video conference has been an effective tool for follow-up and information sharing to all project members.
