Important results from the project
Zenicor has launched a new model for streamlining the care pathway for arrhythmia assessment. In this project Zenicor has developed a new graphical user interface (GUI) for the next generation Zenicor-EKG with full support for the new model, in collaboration with UX expertise. The prototype has been tested with end customers, in Sweden and Finland, at various stages of development in order to iteratively anchor and improve the design. The collaboration with UX expertise has also contributed to increased competence on new design principles for user-friendly systems.
Expected long term effects
The prototype design of the graphical interface in this project has been evaluated with end customers with good results. The objectives of the project have been met and the new interface is well adapted to the large patient volumes expected in the new care pathway with centralized interpretation of primary care patients. The prototype forms the basis for the further development of the next generation back-end system.
Approach and implementation
The project was performed in collaboration with UX expertise. After analyzing requirements, a first prototype with basic functions was designed. This prototype was evaluated by internal specialists. After further development, the prototype was evaluated by end customers in Sweden and Finland. Feedback and the ability to use the system were evaluated and feeded to development. A final evaluation was done externally and internally. The prototype forms the basis for the technical development project.
