Important results from the project
The project Swedish Production System (SwePS) was an initiative to strengthen the position of Swedish companies by education, and implementation of the Lean Production philosophy based on the strengths, possibilities and the prerequisites of Swedish companies. The project was carried out in close collaboration between a number of different production units within the following companies; AB Volvo, Saab Automobile, Volvo Cars, companies from Scandinavian automotive suppliers group and researchers from Chalmers and Swerea IVF.
