Important results from the project

The purpose of StoryTrade®, is to create the web´s first 3D-based platform for trade fairs! A new meeting place with all the fair´s advantages accessible from a user-friendly interface. With StoryTrade, we want to expand the fair concept to a broader economic target group. The fair´s business driving components such as exposure to products, services and processes, relevant meetings, seminars, conferences, etc. are efficient but expensive. With StoryTrade, interest groups, niches, cultural life and even private individuals can benefit from all the components of the fair!

Expected long term effects

StoryTrade® is launched as an independent, for-profit product. As a trade fair organizer, you´re pricing your booths yourself, and choose whether you fill them with content yourself or distribute the work to the exhibitor. We expect the fair to be used as a digital complement to analogue fairs, but also for completely independent events. The fair´s dynamic pricing means that it is suitable not only for professional organizers but also for smaller organizations and cultural life. We expect a breakthrough for our product first on the Swedish market, with immediate external expansion.

Approach and implementation

Two project groups have created StoryTrade. One with a focus on visuality and user experience, with experience from the film industry. The other with a focus on software development and system solution, with education from KTH. Innovation and concept development have taken place seamlessly between the groups, which has created a very creative work climate.
