Important results from the project
Atlantic Quantum AB was a subsidiary of Atlantic Quantum (USA), which merged with Google on October 1, 2025. Some time later, the project was discontinued at the request of the company. Before that, Atlantic Quantum had achieved several of the project´s milestones, which now, under the company´s continued management, will be of great use in the development of quantum processors, and above all for packaging and signal handling in large systems.
Expected long term effects
The project helped demonstrate progress that led to the company´s merger with Google. The company´s employees remain in Gothenburg and contribute to the development of quantum technology skills and income in Sweden.
Approach and implementation
The project followed the original plan until it was canceled. The collaboration with QM worked well.
