Purpose and goal

The overall goal was to developed partnership, a demonstrator of SUCCCE, and a deeper understanding of needs, that should increase the possibilities for SUCCCE to reach the market, and fulfill the final goals. The partnership is strengthened by presumptive costumers, system suppliers and academia. A deeper understanding of needs has given valuable knowledge and contribution to the development of a tested demonstrator, which also have great impact on the next step of clinical full-scale tests. A business plan was elaborated and already we can see partly fulfilled final goals.

Expected results and effects

The SUCCCE project has reached the following results and effect during Stage 1: An integrated project organization is established and well functioning. 4 new partners are connected to SUCCCE. A deeper study on user needs has been performed. A demonstrator has been developed and tested. Furthermore a more detailed business plan is elaborated. Already in Stage 1 we can detect effects as: interest from care outside complex care environment, large interest from an American supplier, and that SUCCCE has influenced the processes at the county council.

Planned approach and implementation

At the start of the SUCCCE project we organized it as a traditional project organization with a steering group, project group, project manager and sub-project managers (responsible of work packages). The project has been performed continuously, with follow-ups at project meetings two times a month. The steering group has met once a month. All participants has been gathered three times during Stage 1. Planning and performance has worked well. A close and good communication between the different group and individuals has made discussions and new ways of solving issues smooth.
