Purpose and goal
The biological and chemical diversity in the marine environment is of great importance for discovery of novel molecules with antibacterial activity. This project is focused on micro fungi from marine organisms in Swedish waters which involves development of methods for identification, cultivation, isolation and structure elucidation of new molecules combined with relevant test systems to establish effect against multi resistant bacteria.
