Important results from the project
The project aimed to develop a complete and competitive proposal to EICAccelerator Open Call for NanoEcho´s innovation in diagnostics of disseminated rectal cancer. The project included the development of "Short Proposal”" in October 2025 and a complete proposal Q1 2026. Both applications have been developed and submitted. A prerequisite for submitting a complete proposal was that we passed after submitting Short Proposal, which we did.
Expected long term effects
If we are granted funding for our full EIC proposal, it will be an important factor in implementing the main project, with the goal of taking the innovation from TRL 6 to TRL 8, achieving maximum clinical and commercial impact, and increasing the chances of market approval within the EU.
Approach and implementation
The project went well according to plan. We had to bring forward the submission of Short Propoal when EIC brought forward the submission date, but we managed that just fine. The situation has been good and the collaboration internally and with Gaeu has worked very well!
