Important results from the project
The goal of the project was to collect Swedish mining industry and suppliers to the mining industry, academia, institutes, agencies and interest groups to define a common research and innovation agenda. The work has had broad support and the goal is considered as completed.
Expected long term effects
The agenda is expected to be implemented in a strategic research and innovation with its own program 2013-2016
Approach and implementation
The agenda consists of seven different areas: Deep Innovative Exploration, Mining, Mineral Processing, Metallurgy and Recycling, Environmental Performance, Attractive workplace and Gender Equal Mining. Agenda is written in English as it is used also in international cooperation. Each area is described by experts from academia and industry.
