Purpose and goal
The project aims to develop an open, secure, and platform-independent technical stack for location-based learning in XR. The goal is to enable context-aware, immersive collaboration without relying on cloud services—where user position, movement, and context are shared in real-time across devices, with full data sovereignty and privacy compliance.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to deliver a complete reference stack for local spatial data processing, integration of AI-based interaction, and real-world pilots at SSAB, Linde Group, and Scania. The long-term effect will be improved location-based learning in critical environments and a national architecture for reuse across industries.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be carried out over 24 months in three phases: needs analysis, technical development, and pilot implementation. It will be conducted in close collaboration between technology partners, industry actors, and educational experts, using iterative testing in real environments and open source dissemination.
