Important results from the project

Our idea is to develop an advanced solar thermal system for direct connection to existing water heaters. This means that when the solar heating system installed, no new tank or any changes to the house are needed. Hence, the investment cost and installation work is substancially decreased. The next step consists on developing a prototype for further testing and validation of the simulations. Also, a detailed economic analysis, a market research and patent opportunities should be verified.
