Purpose and goal

The purpose of the feasibility study has been to investigate and create understanding and transparency around creative methods for develop future products (not only kitchen) on the basis of customer needs, test new methods to use these in their companies. Through collaboration with InnonetLifeStyle and active participation in the workshops, have interaction and opportunities with foreign contacts presented where also materials, product development and sales discussed. The goal to reach many small businesses have been achieved and creative approaches are needed.

Results and expected effects

To develop and have Companies testing methodology for specific user insights to uncover new functionalities, materials and design possibilities within furniture for senior segment and also to create consortium for upcoming applications with the goal to create a long term project over three years for innovative methods for product development, prototyping and production for the benefit of SME´s in the participating clusters.

Approach and implementation

We have put the project into creative forms of meetings, where two workshops have been central focused on the future purchasing power and the older audience who will live and stay much longer in their homes, cutting-edge research into how virtual people can help us cope with life in the future, summary of study of older people today about how they are using or want to use their kitchen, creative approach in design crash - with the development of the prototype of a gift to reflect customer needs. The next workshop has been focused on working with creative methods in product development.
