Sioo:x stain and facade paint - a new sustainable, environmentally friendly wood protection

Purpose and goal

Through the project, Sioo has been able to expand its product portfolio in the panel product range. New colors in the gray scale with good adhesion and long durability have been developed. Expected project results have been achieved for all parts of the project and we have also identified interesting applications that require continued development work.

Expected results and effects

Development of new Sioo:x recipes with different colors has been implemented. Sioo´s panel products in various colours have been launched on the domestic market in the spring of 2019.

Planned approach and implementation

We have developed new recipes through various lab tests, such as dispersion and binder studies, Weatherometer and field studies, etc. Sioo has a highly qualified R&D team.
