Important results from the project
We expanded our global network from Stockholm to Palo Alto, Austin, Tel Aviv, Singapore, and Spain, manifesting over 72 Signs in 7 languages. With our evaluation matrix we explore impact honing strong interest in the Futures community. During Barcelona Design Week, we launched City Walks with our AR tool, engaging the public, policymakers, and scientific community on climate impact and water management in real contexts. We grow Signs of Change as a platform and tool for Futures literacy.
Expected long term effects
Our interventions have sparked long-term impact, exemplified by citizen engagement. Through workshops on climate, tech, and behavior change, we foster awareness, agency, and connection among diverse stakeholders, creating lasting relationships. We’ve built strong alliances in the Futures community, making Signs of Change a recognized platform for impact. Expanding to museum spaces and collaborating with innovation teams and policymakers, we aim to drive collective future-making.
Approach and implementation
Our project, structured around localized events with diverse stakeholders, required a strict timeline. Meanwhile, elements like the evaluation matrix and AR prototype evolved alongside ongoing global pop-ups. With a strong, capable team, we successfully adhered to our schedule and expanded the project beyond its initial goals. We managed to participate on an array of local Swedish events while expanding the project on a global scale.
