Important results from the project
Better functionality corresponding to users needs, higher security level for users, prepare full scale production, establish communication platform and investigate willingness to pay. Objectives were fulfilled through user tests with end-user feedback (proposed improvements will be implemented in the product). Security level is higher, acheived through risk analyses from varying professions and joint risk scenario. Some new construction to fit serial production. Communication platform established. Willingness to pay study initiated but not ready due to budget reasons.
Expected long term effects
The effects of the project include that the innovation will be better adjusted to end users´ needs concerning comfort and security as well as some new construction that fit serial production.
Approach and implementation
There were 4 work packages in the project: WP1) User tests including analysis of data WP2) Mapping, analysis and choice of components and production tools for commercial production WP3) Willingness to pay study WP4) Establish a platform for market communicaiton WP1, 2 and 4 have been completed with very godd results. WP3 has not yet been compleeted, due to higher costs inflicted than anticipated to complete this study. Talks are ongoing with the Institute to prepare for a complettion of the sudie at a later stage.
