Venture Cluster of Excellence for Cutting-Edge Technologies - calls for proposals
Call Visions for world-leading research and innovation in strategic technology areas

Purpose and goal

The project´s aim and objective is to develop a common vision and strategic plan in broad collaboration between academia, research institutes and business to create a Swedish cluster of excellence within next-generation intelligent systems enabled by neuromorphic technology for Swedish competitiveness and resilience.

Expected effects and result

Sweden is establishing a leading position in neuromorphic technology by developing industrial ecosystems that deliver scalable solutions with extremely low power consumption, low latency, high dynamic range and adaptive capabilities, sometimes even biocompatible. The result is energy-efficient, intelligent AI systems for real-time monitoring and autonomous collaboration in distributed edge systems, strengthening Swedish resilience and competitiveness.

Planned approach and implementation

The project will conduct four open thematic workshops within different industry segments. The results from the workshops in co-creation with Industrial Advisory Board and International Advisory Panel will form a common vision and common strategy.
