Purpose and goal
The project aims to lay the foundation for a national excellense cluster organization for secure and reliable AI (SecureAI). The goal is to mobilize industry, academia and the public sector around a common vision, establish a long-term research and innovation agenda, and develop governance, partnerships and talent strategies that make Sweden a leader in AI security by 2035.
Expected effects and result
The project is expected to result in a shared vision, governance model, research agenda and partner commitments for SecureAI. The effects will be strengthened competitiveness for Swedish industry, protection of critical infrastructure, increased trust in AI, and a long-term talent and knowledge base that makes Sweden a leader in AI security.
Planned approach and implementation
The project will be implemented from October 2025 to March 2026 in five work packages: governance/vision, research agenda, ecosystem mobilization, talent and equality strategy, and internationalization. Through workshops, partner commitments, and a long-term roadmap, the foundation for a national cluster in AI security is established.
