Important results from the project

Science Park Skövde Startup has strengthened the regional and national business sector by attracting and developing innovative and sustainable ideas within gaming and digitalization. Through qualified coaching, networks and expertise, startups have been supported in scaling internationally, attracting investments and creating jobs. Beyond direct results, the project also fostered stronger collaboration with other actors in the innovation support system.

Expected long term effects

The project is expected to generate long-term effects such as more sustainable growth companies, increased innovation capacity, and more qualified jobs within the games and tech sectors. Established methods and networks will live on beyond the project period, giving future entrepreneurs better conditions to succeed. In the long run, this strengthens Sweden’s competitiveness and contributes to a more inclusive and resilient innovation system.

Approach and implementation

The project followed plan using established processes and tools to select, validate, and accelerate company development. Startups were supported through coaching, workshops, and specialist expertise in validation, sales, marketing, team building, financing, IP strategy, and sustainability. The plan was largely maintained, though the pandemic required temporary adjustments through digitalization of the offering.
