Important results from the project
The objective and purpose of the project is to increase the safety in the construction industry by developing a safety harness that informs the bearer, and the bearer´s surrounding, when in areas where accidents are often occurring and thus change insecure behavior at construction sites.
Expected long term effects
The initial project idea has been clarified and further focused, both technically and commercially, and the initial project group has been further developed with a partner for the technical development (geo-tracking) and a partner representing potential end-users.
Approach and implementation
A pre-study has been carried out investigating the preconditions of the project, allowing the initial idea to be clarified as regards e.g. technical development. As a result of the pre-study, yet another industry - the mining industry - has emerged as potentially interesting industry for the solution to be developed.
