Status Completed

Purpose and goal

Participation and presentations durig workshop ´in the long run in Brussels 11.12 june 2013´. Conference ´for the benefit of SMEs´ and description of EU means of research and SME funding in coming H2020.

Results and expected effects

The horizon 2020 will be published will calls in the end of 2013. The budget of the programs (2014-2020) is larger than before (more than 70 Bilj ?) but also have larger scope than previously. For the opportunities for SMEs it was especially noted that there is a large gap in funding opportunities (less than 50%) since the crisis 2007/08. SME instruments; -50,000 ? lump sum funds for 6 months projects for feasibility, risk assessment, B-planning, partnership and study design. -1-2,5 M? output based funds for development (12-24 months) -No real EU funds for commercialisation

Approach and implementation

It was so good to discuss with other SME managers to hear that we all share equal difficulties and problems. To discuss and hear about such issues that we all share makes in not easier to solve hem, but good to know that the problems are not unique. A really good contact and discussion with John Wilkinsson that may be really useful for Redoxis coming negotiations on collaboration and partnership terms and agreements.
