Purpose and goal
Using combined measuring technique to achieve better yield out of logs from the border between forest and agriculture areas.
Results and expected effects
It has been successful to combine the different techniques and we know how to use them. It is now time to over time try to understand better how to use the result in the best of ways.
Approach and implementation
In a saw line with the help of 3D scanning , optimization, measuring of the year rings combined with better control in the saw line better servos better resolution of pulse encoders etc. The result is positive but it will take some time to make it perfect.
