Results and expected effects

18 of the 20 participants completed the program. The participants came from 12 universities, from Luleå Technical University,in the north, to Lund Unversity in the south. They came from different faculites such as science, engineering, medical and social science. Some of the participants had at of the course, either started a business or were in the process of doing so. During the course the participants got to know nearly 30 investors, experienced entrepreneurs and people from the public support system which expaned the participants networks.

The program is designed so the participants learn a number of tools to use in developing an business opportunity assessment (BOA). Thses tolls are used on the participants own ideas. During a number of workshops and between he workshops they work with the tools to developp their BOA. During the final workshop they present their BOA to experienced entrepreneurs and investors. We have also involved teachers from Stanford University, London Business School and University of California San Diego to work with the participants during the program.
