Purpose and goal

The project presents a business model construct which serves as a foundation for both a "growth barometer" (used as an analytical instrument) and an empirical quantitative analysis of 57 company business models wich are correlated with company growth and profitability. Furthermore we present a model for government support, a so called "CEO network model" and a follow-up study that shows the pros and cons of the model. Our suggestion is that governmental financial support should preferably be organized in projects with miles-stones.

Expected results and effects

The goals of the project was to present a business model construct, to present a so called "growth barometer", to implement an empirical business model study, to do a follow up study of the "CEO network model" and to comment upon so called contra-factual evaluation models. The outcome from our project shows a good fit in comparison to our goals.

Planned approach and implementation

The projekt partly consists of theoretical, deductive studies shaping different frames of reference and partly consists of empirical studies of different business models and their relation towards growth and profitability as well as a follow-up study of the "CEO network model". A very large empirical documentation has been implemented of 57 company business models, which firstly were described in the form of company cases and in a second step they were codified for quantitative analysis.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
