Important results from the project

The project has defined the framework for BioInnovations next big projekt in the textile area. The project was conducted as two parts, based on analysis made by the consultant Trossa on behalf of BioInnovation during spring/summer 2020. The main part of the work has been gathering information through questionnaires and controlled dialogues with relevant actors and potential participants in an upcoming textile project. It has become clear that the interest and willingness to participate in a textile project under BioInnovation is large and areas of interest have been identified.

Expected long term effects

It has become clear that the interest and willingness to participate in a textile projects under BioInnovation is large and three areas of interest have emerged: Chemical recycling of regenerated fibers, Mechanical recycling and Innovative fiber blends and yarn spinning techniques.The steering group has, based on the project results, suggested that BioInnovation shall develop an Innovation project with up to three subprojects.
