Important results from the project
We prepared and submitted a competitive proposal to a Research and Innovation Action call for proposals in Horizon Europe Cluster 6, "Supporting the implementation of nature restoration measures for sustainable farming systems", where we, in collaboration between researchers, industry and authorities in eleven EU member states, develop guidelines, methods, tools and collaborative processes to achieve cost-effective restoration of agricultural landscapes for both nature and sustainable production.
Expected long term effects
The purpose of the planning project is to contribute to consolidating and further developing our international position in research and collaboration within land use, environment and climate.
Approach and implementation
We completed the consortium with additional complementary co-applicants and collaboration partners (WP1), held a physical workshop where partners met to develop the main project´s concept and work package descriptions regarding science, collaboration, communication and gender equality (WP2), and prepared and submitted a proposal to the EU´s Funding and Tenders Portal (WP3).
