Purpose and goal
Productive and profitable agriculture is important for securing future food availability. At the same time, we have far-reaching commitments to restore nature. This project develops a competitive Research and Innovation Action proposal in Horizon Europe Cluster 6: "Supporting the implementation of nature restoration measures for sustainable farming systems", where we, in collaboration with researchers, industry and authorities, develop guidelines, methods, tools and processes to achieve cost-effective restoration in agricultural landscapes for nature and sustainable production.
Expected effects and result
A competitive consortium, consortium workshop and meetings, gender analysis and proposals for methods and tools, completed and submitted proposal.
Planned approach and implementation
The work is conducted in three workpackages (WPs): WP1 Iterative consortium analysis, measures to complement the consortium, gathering confirmations. WP2 Physical two-day workshop at the end of June in Lund where all partners meet to develop the main project concept and work package descriptions in terms of science, collaboration, communication and gender equality. WP3 Writing and submitting the proposal.
