Purpose and goal
Piia Analysis is SIP PiiAs tool to pave the way for change by generating and disseminating knowledge. Piia Analysis main projects for the purposes has been PiiA Business Environment and The challenges of digitization in raw materials- and process industry. And secondly PiiA Innovation, which had the objective to enhance the innovation capability of PiiA targeted enterprises.
Expected results and effects
In total, and under these headings ten major studies have been executed. Examples of studies/reports are PiiA Analysis, Industrial digitization, the report Future Smart Industry and State of the art industry studies on forest industry, the steel industry and the mining industry. The analyzes and conclusions have been communicated in part through the dissemination of reports, publication of articles in the form of newsletters and participating as a lecturer in a large variety of conferences.
Planned approach and implementation
The method has been discussions at various levels with the main industry representatives. Literature studies, surveys and interviews.
