Purpose and goal

Through increased R&D efforts the aim was to alleviate previous understandings in the area and commercially position the knowledge and products to meet an identified commercial need. This has been very well fulfilled by means of the Vinnova support. The company has regardless of a completed company reconstruction been able to push through with research using existing and newly recruited staff. The knowledge and the products has been positioned with a number of major international players which at the end of the project is expected to result in further commercialized implementation.

Results and expected effects

The expected effects were that by growing the company´s research base to create research results and a prototype that will have direct commercial takers internationally and shall be able to be productized. During the project, the research findings have raised new questions and answers for the needs and designs of the prototype system, taken into operation and validated on an international market. Portions of this prototype has already at this stage been productized and used in international commercial contracts whereupon others are part of a continuing research effort.

Approach and implementation

Through strategic recruitment, basic research, development of new research platforms in parallel with exploitation of state of the art research platforms has own research and a subsequent prototype been tested on the commercial market, especially Dubai and the UK. The result has also been included in an international United Nations working group on the research area.
