Important results from the project
The purpose with this project was to involve an industrial design partner to refine the product and increase the usability. This to make it more attractive and competitive in the marketplace and additionally to reduce the product risk and the potential for mis-use. We reach a level with a very good product that has demonstrated to be easy to grasp and attractive.
Expected long term effects
The immediate effect of the collaboration is that we now can continue and register a product that will be CE-marked and that has the potential of fitting very well with its purpose. We see this as a good business opportunity and advantageous for users, patients and payers.
Approach and implementation
The main part of the creative work was performed through workshops with participants from the design partner and from Capitainer. Supporting data and information was provided by some of the stakeholders and by visits to potential clients and customers. Thereafter the design partner could prototype the product for visualization and assessments.
