Purpose and goal

AI for All is a full-day conference, 11 April 2019 in Delhi, welcoming Indian and Swedish decision makers, academic researchers and leading industry executives to discuss how Artificial Intelligence techniques can be made more accessible explore novel applications and to highlight prioritized application areas. The conference also aims to create a forum for increased collaborations among the countries ecosystems. It also contributes to the ´The joint Sweden India collaborative Industrial research and Development Program´ that should support market-oriented R&D projects.

Expected results and effects

The project aimed at the participation of professor Jansson in the conference as invited speaker in the transport panel. The symposium was an excellent opportunity to create new and consolidate old contacts with: -Swedish agencies such UD, Business Sweden, VINNOVA and the Energy authority, -Indian agencies such as DBT and DST, NITI Aayog and NASSCOM -Swedish and Indian companies such as Ericsson, Volvo, Astra and Tata -Indian such as IISc, ITT Bombay, IIT Madras, Amrita and IIT Delhi, -Swedish universities such as Chalmers and Linköping University.

Planned approach and implementation

The conference was structured in terms of four panels with the following themes: -Transportation (I.e. autonomous systems, air control systems) -Healthcare (I.e. remote screening, patient management) -Public safety (I.e. authentication, national situation awareness) -Industry 4.0 (I.e. connected factories, worker skilling) Professor Jansson represented KTH in the Transport panel with representatives for among all IISC and ITT Delhi. Transport and Mobility is a priority area for KTH with applications of Artificial Intelligence being of strategic importance.
