Purpose and goal
We have developed a new mobile robot concepts that are launched on Elmia Automation, 6-9 May 2014. The new concept was very well received. Although the old got very positive feedback, so said the customers that this felt more robost and complete. We have managed to reduce production costs further compared with the plan.

Approach and implementation
We have used Lean Product Development (LPD) as a development method, which has provided enormous leverage. We have to find a better and more flexible concept by the LPD technology Set Based Design.Two new patents have been applied. The market launch was carefully planned and carried out on the large automation fair. Very good reception.
