This constellation enhances the ability to be successful and achieve the goal to take a leading position in strong Swedish competition areas.

Results and expected effects

A Vinnväxt application has been developed, supported by a large number of companies and organizations. The initiative was one of nine most interesting applications and was called for interview. The result was that the initiative was awarded a mobilization grant to further developing the concept of a strong and competitive innovation environment within the offshore area. The planning process has also contributed to an increasing attention of this segment outside the offshore industry and identifying new collaboration partners.

Approach and implementation

The result is based on a large number of contacts with organizations such as visits, telephone, workshops and information sessions. There is a huge market potential in the Region and the interest among companies, academia and public stakeholders participating in a venture that Vinnväxt represents is great. 48 organizations are directly involved and nine strategic partners are associated with the initiative. A number of innovative projects are identified, which contributes to a quick and dedicated start of next steps of the project.
