Purpose and goal

NLSDays 2016 is an effective platform to build international networks and promote the best we have in Swedish/Nordic life science to a relevant audience from all over the world. The purpose of the meeting is to inform about and discuss important topics with great impact for the industry´s future. The goal of the conference is to significantly increase the number of contacts, partnerships and business for mainly Swedish and Nordic organizations and companies, both within the region and internationally. Another goal of the meeting is to attract external financing to the region.

Expected results and effects

Expected results are an increased number of collaborations between Nordic companies and Nordic and non-Nordic life science companies and an increased number of investments in the region. The expected effect is that companies can develop new products for the benefit of individuals and society and for businesses to grow.

Planned approach and implementation

The conference begins on the afternoon of 13 September and ends two days later. The conference is a B -2- B meetings where life sciences companies will present business opportunities and form partnerships. The conference includes a number ´tracks´ where important topics with great impact for the industry´s future are discussed. SwedenBIO is the host organization and works with the producer BioNordic, VINNOVA and a large number of Swedish, Nordic and international companies and organizations to implement the conference.
