Important results from the project
The Nordic Changemaker Map aimed to create an MVP map to give a health-check on social entrepreneurship and social innovation in the Nordic region. The mapping would then divide data into networks, trends, challenges and needs among social entrepreneurs, young Changemakers and Changemaker initiatives to provide a future roadmap to the Nordic Changemaking landscape.
Expected long term effects
The Nordic Changemaker Map created an MVP to give an up-to-date analysis of the health of social entrepreneurship and innovation landscape in the Nordics. Templates were created to gather trends, progress and collaborations within the ecosystem while also being able to visualize the results through public digital mapping. The pilot engaged 33 Nordic Changemakers and aims to continue to scale and map the landscape in its next phase.
Approach and implementation
The project was conducted in a 3-step approach: 1.Design workshop: gathered all partners to jointly set the timeline, approach, responsibilities, as well as, first draft of questionnaire. 2.Testing phase: Rolled out the initial draft survey template (using a Snowball-methodology) to 30 Nordic Changemakers within the existing network. Tested the approach, collected insights and fine-tune framework. 3.MVP/Prototype development: Finalised the MVP, draft initial digital map and roadmap and in the future scale the map to a wider level across the Nordics.
