Next level GDCP [Geospatial Data Collection and Processing]

Reference number
Coordinator GLOBHE DRONES AB
Funding from Vinnova SEK 150 000
Project duration January 2026 - April 2026
Status Ongoing
Venture Advanced digitalization - Industrial needs-driven innovation
Call Collaborations with the US in AI, digital infrastructure and cyber security

Purpose and goal

Globhe is today the leading drone data tasking platform where enterprises task drones at global scale to collect data of their assets and environments. A missing step today is that processing of the data is not integrated to Globhe´s platform flow in an automated way but shipped manually to multiple software platforms depending on the processing requirements. “Next level GDCP” will integrate an automated processing pipeline to Globhe’s platform to reduce turnaround time for critical data

Expected effects and result

“Next level GDCP” will integrate an automated processing pipeline to Globhe’s global drone data tasking platform and by doing so reduce the turnaround time for critical data to reach Globhe’s clients by an estimated 60%. This will benefit Globhe’s clients´ operations as well as people and the planet relying on insights from these critical assets such as functioning wind turbines, solar farms and telecom towers.

Planned approach and implementation

1. Preparation: Set project success KPI’s, conclude best processing software comparison analysis, select software accordingly and make preparations for pipeline integration. 2. Visit in the US: Meet with processing software representatives in San Francisco to workshop, test and implement automated data processing pipeline to Globhe’s drone data platform. Meet with existing Globhe clients and potential new clients to validate their gains. 3. Conclusion: Evaluate project success KPI’s
