Purpose and goal
The planning project aims to develop a complete, high-quality EIC Accelerator proposal, responding to all eligibility requirements and addressing all evaluation criteria. The goal of the EIC Accelerator project is to develop a full-scale, space-qualified water recovery system and demonstrate its performance on the ISS. The project will also address system integration, certification, manufacturing scale-up and go-to-market activities.
Expected effects and result
The expected results of the planning project is that the EIC Accelerator proposal is successful and that Hydromars secures EIC funding. With EIC funding, Hydromars can dramatically accelerate its technology development, demonstrate and ultimately commercialise its closed loop water and nutrient recovery system to the growing space industry.
Planned approach and implementation
The planning project will be implemented along four thematic work packagest that will be implemented in parallell: 1. Business plan, commercialisation strategy and competition analysis 2. Detailed planning of the project implementation, partners, budget and financial forecast 3. Development of technological excellence descriptions 4. Development of an engaging video pitch, pitch deck and illustrations This approach will support an effective proposal development based on team member competencies.
