Purpose and goal

The purpose with the IP-check has been to map the own scope of protection for our IP rights, to analyse the IP-rights at the competitors and finally to make a strategy on how we can commercialize the rights. This strategy has been fulfilled since a first business contact has been established with planned meetings. National patent applications in some strategic countries are planned

Expected results and effects

The result has been satisfying and the effect is that we consider that the patent portfolio has a strong protection range. Protection of brand name is ongoing. With the aid of the consulting company we are considered to have a big know-how which means an IP platform with possible development and a business concept to test. We have with the IP portfolio agreed to meetings with interesting parties. New manufacturing equipment with new innovations are planned. Strategies for national patents have been discussed and partly been executed and a plan is set to use IP rights internationally.

Planned approach and implementation

We have had regularly meetings with a consulting bureau to study our IP- rights. A world around analysis, novelty search and assessment of patentability is done. It shows a strong IP portfolio with business opportunities within the CO2 effect from the power networks. This led to a strategy to enable us to open and close business opportunities in a secured way. The content of the strategy is ways to commercialize our IP portfolio e g with a Pre study agreement. We have created conditions to find partners to cooperate around our IP rights with additional innovations. A first meeting is planned.
