Important results from the project
It is a challenging task to develop new foam for firefighting purposes. New firefighting foams must combine good fire-quenching properties with good environmental profile. To achieve this, a new way of thinking and evaluation of new components will be necessary. The aim is to investigate how synergies between key components are developed and how they can be manipulated to achieve commercial foams. The goal is to be able to develop new foams with new, unique properties regarding both properties and environment.
