The hypervisor has been developed almost completely within the project for ARM Cortex A8, it has been released as open source and we have also provided a full Linux port.

Results and expected effects

The overall project goal included enhancing security, privacy and dependability in embedded system but also enabling industrial actors and service providers to offer new features or services to the customer. SICS has within the project developed a new hypervisor meeting these needs. This hypervisor has been offered to Swedish industry actors like Ericsson, Sectra, ABB and Tutus. Three among those have chosen together with us to continue the hypervisor work through the Vinnova project HAPOC with the main goals to bring the solution closer to certification.
