Purpose and goal

The aim of the project is to make a feasibility study regarding a national innovation platform for neuromorphic technology. The goal is to make an assessment of the conditions for a national neuromorphic innovation platform and a long-term sustainable financing plan that is coordinated with national actors.

Expected effects and result

The project will result in strategic recommendations to create a gender balanced national innovation platform for neuromorphic technology, promoting industrial leadership, collaboration, resilience and sustainable economic growth. Neuromorphic technology has disruptive innovation potential, which makes it highly relevant for Sweden and strengthened industrial competitiveness.

Planned approach and implementation

The national ecosystem in neuromorphic technology will be mapped and engaged through open workshops and meetings to identify needs and propose strategies for a strong innovation system, skills development, entrepreneurship and industrial leadership.
