Important results from the project

Through the current project, FineCell wanted to validate additional functions, based on the need of the market, of its materials in cosmetic applications. Through the dialogues we have had, we have identified a couple of functions where we see good problem-solution fit, but within the framework of the project it has not been possible to fully validate these.

Expected long term effects

FineCell has had several dialogues with manufacturers of cosmetics to identify functions where we can offer a good product-solution fit. Based on these dialogues, we have worked to validate these internally, we have also started dialogues with development consultants / institutes to get an external validation of the function. In addition to this, we have worked to increase the purity and quality of our products to suit the intended market. All this is the fundation to becoming a competitive and sustainable alternative in the cosmetics industry.

Approach and implementation

The project has largely been based on building networks with both customers and development partners, and through these contacts build a better understanding of the industry and how our products can solve the needs that exist. Due to COVID, this has been more difficult than expected and it has lead to slow progress. This has meant that the validation work that would have been carried out by external parties has been done internally instead.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
