Purpose and goal

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The overall goal of the project is to improve the lives of young adults (16-30 years) who have been affected by cancer. Under UDI 2, together with young cancer experienced, we have developed three product prototypes and further developed two already existing products that can be used to support young people during their cancer journey. These are intended to contribute to increased well-being in each individual, but also a better overall approach to young adult cancer survivors, both in care and in society.

Expected results and effects

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The project has been successful in that valuable information has been identified and used to adapt and develop the five products. Tests have shown that the products are appreciated by both young people with cancer and healthcare professionals. A results of the project has also been that a proposal has emerged for how the developed products can be used together in a person-centered way of working in hospitals that treat young people with cancer.

Planned approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The knowledge from UDI 1 was further developed together with additional partners to meet the needs of the target group. The work was divided into 5 work packages which at the same time were run independently and in parallel with the project´s overall objective in focus. With the joint approach of person-centred approach, young cancer survivors were involved in all work packages and all phases of the project. Process and results were discussed continuously in joint project meetings to ensure focus and relevance for the work.
