Purpose and goal

We conducted a customer survey with a number of interviews where we deep interviewed a number of people with different conditions, background and approach to accommodation around life, home and self-construction. The responses have been both confirmed and overturned our starting points and is a very good basis for further work on the project.

Results and expected effects

In these interviews, it has emerged that a different and somewhat new approach to housing is in great demand. The interviewees talk a lot about the importance of the social life. And that a good accommodation should support this in an easy manner with eg common areas inside and outside. The ability to create is central to these arguments; cultivate, build, cook things, re-use and prepare the food, such take care of the harvest, meat or mass caterers for large dinners. Jointly in the house operate a nursery is also an idea that emerged of accommodation for the residents.

Approach and implementation

We have not yet locked us at any tenure. If the client exclusion is in the form of a byggemenskap so is the co-tenancy or dwelling right at your fingertips. Temporary planning permission is one possible way to be able to quickly create homes that are in demand. To build a temporary building that after a certain period be moved to a new location, alternatively, have the potential to become permanent is something we see as very promising project. We are looking at several possible main mana cabinets.
