Purpose and goal

A fast and accurate method of analysis is very important in the production of mAbs and that is what this project is focusing on. CapSenze and Genovis has developed an analytical flow injection method with a smart user-friendly software and a range of innovative hardware solutions that together is very suitable for precise online measurements of bioprocesses. The innovative technology platform in this project has been adapted to the monitoring of mAb-production and given the name mAbCHECK.

Results and expected effects

With the resources received from VINNOVA in this project, we are now very close to a market launch. An estimate that feels highly realistic is that a first mAbCHECK instruments will be available on the market already this year. We expect that the collaboration with Bruker will accelerate the process towards the market even in terms of available resources.

Approach and implementation

A summary of the project demonstrate that the consortium has consistently been in phase with the expected development described in the original application. The resources released from VINNOVA in this project have been used in three main parts; -Design, engineering and manufacturing of three pilot instruments, and a custom software -Customer tests and workshop-related activities -Market-related activities in connection with conferences and customer visits We experience all of the above elements as exceptionally successful!
