Status Completed

Purpose and goal

Rudholm & Haak (RH) wanted to create a logistic platform for textilindustry that connect the 3 part relation that is the base in every production (Brand, component of accessories and producer of garment). We have also decided to include the final consumer. Goal have been to create a more effective process that minimize over production, reduce time, shorten transport, eliminate human mistakes and simplifies the process for the garments variable information and digital be able to give the consumer more information about sustainability and authentication

Expected results and effects

Result of the project is that we get a closer collaboration with our customers where we together get a better control of the processes. We have been working hard to make our digitalization process give a better user experience and minimize time and recourses in all parts. The effects of this is shown by good response from both existing and potential customers, where we work hard to use digitalization to better be able to communicate their sustainability work.

Planned approach and implementation

The project started with a pre study of both Rudholm own systems and our customer different systems We have explored customers demands and challenges and together with our IT partner tried to optimize the platform to meet customers demands. This has lead to that we have rebuild big parts of our own digital platform. Development have been planned in steps, with follow-up tests and evaluation of each step. This to be able to change and correct logic and code on a running basis and avoid to rebuild to much in the total platform.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
