Call Educational collaboration and work-integrated learning - model and method development 2022

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project LOGIFLY is to increase the integration between the bachelor program Air Transport and Logistics (at Linköping University) and the aviation industry, and contribute to more effective sustainability work in the aviation industry. This by creating a scientific platform for the development, implementation and evaluation of work-integrated learning and through this, test a number of different new teaching methods.

Expected effects and result

The platform, which is created as part of the project, will include communication opportunities between the academy and the aviation industry, and offer opportunities for continuous improvement and development of the educational program. The methods evaluated and found valuable for the program will become permanent features, and the platform will facilitate the development and evaluation of additional methods.

Planned approach and implementation

The project is carried out by Linköping University together with parties from the aviation industry, including Swedavia, the Luftfartsverket, Boeing, and Independent Business Group. In the first step, a number of different pedagogical methods will be selected via literature studies and workshops. These will then be implemented and tested at the industry parties, and then evaluated.
