Local delivery hubs, a new opportunity for physical retail

Purpose and goal

The purpose of the project was to make it easier for retailers to compete with purely e-retailers. The aim of the project was to develop software that allows retail stores to be used as local e-commerce delivery hubs. The goal has been met as a working prototype has been developed and tested together with the project partner.

Expected results and effects

The result of the project was that the software was tested together with the project partner, on real e-commerce consumers. Ingrid has in this way learned a lot about e-commerce behavior and deepened his technical knowledge. Based on the lessons learned, Ingrid has been able to further develop her other services and been able to market and sell services with partly the same functionality.

Planned approach and implementation

The project has been a very valuable opportunity for Ingrid to develop its product offering. The plan, to together with a project partner, develop a prototype and test it under real market conditions is a design that fits Ingrid well and is a working method that we usually use. Therefore, it was easy to work this way even within the current project.
