Purpose and goal
Since 2004 the Baltic Sea and its drainage area, except for the Russian parts, are under common transnational environmental regulation. EU Baltic Sea Strategy, EU Water Framwork Directive and Helcom Baltic Sea Action plan are examples. The aim is to make an inventory of innovative clusters (firms and institutions), analyse their relations the Baltic Sea Environment and the growth of the green economy. Workshops will be arranged for finding ways for efficient connections and cooperations between innovative sea environment clusters.
